Changing my looks?!?!

Ok I have to be honest.....I have another fear! I know yall tired of me and my fears but I can't help it! Anyway about looks........I have a feelin' that Im not gonna be able to keep up with the fashion @ skool. I mean I like to dress and shop but am I gonna be able to keep up with the so called "college look" I have noticed when I visit different campuses that the girls dress a certain way and I see my look as fashion but also high schoolish!(my made up word!) Im a person who likes to get dressed up when she needs to but when I dont have to.....I wear sweats and sneakers. I also have noticed that heels are the "in thing" now and I have em but I don't wear em as much as I wear sneakers(sneaker freak!) So what do yall think I should do? Should I keep dressin' the way I like to dress or update my style to fit the surroundings and my age?

I'VE BEEN THINKING THE SAME THING..BUT IT'S ABOUT BEING COMFORTABLE. AFTER ORIENTATION AT MY SKOOL I NOTICED THAT I'M GONNA BE DOING AT LOT OF WALKIN...SO I THINK I'M GONNA STICK TO MY SNEAKERS.

My first semester at Grambling I felt the same way. Dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable and forget everybody else. I kept my look throughout my freshman year. But this year as a sophmore I'll probably be more into the "heel thing." Grambling has changed me a lot. If it's not Rocawear, Lady Enyce,Girbaud,G-Unit,etc. I really don't want it. Don't try to impress everybody, especially not the Gram men, because you've probably heard this a lot (but I speak from what I know at Gram), most (and not all)the Grambling men are only after what you can offer them physically. I wish that I would have learned that lesson before I became a freshman.
