Yesterday, Springfield, Mass was in mouring for those was lost last summer to the street violence that continues to rise here. 10 people where killed by gunsmen in a high public place last year and innocent bystanders were hit. Including lil children and my brother in law's lil cousin Patrick. He too lost his life at the tender age of 17 and his large family continue to mourn his lost. I watch my brother in law cry
tears that could send tears down your own face. The town of Springfield met up in one of the local parks and paid tribute to those who were lost last summer. In total there were 20 unsolve misteries here and out of all these people i knew 7 of them. 4 of them going to my school 2 of them being twins and 1 being a friend of the family.

Im sorry if this ruined anyone's holiday but i felt should be posted for all to see and hear.

I can relate because it hits so close to home. I'm from Boston (right around the way) and every year when the summer comes we lose more and more young people to gang violence. Fortunately, I've been blessed to not have anyone close to me get killed. But this year, the program I'm in , Project HIP-HOP, lost one of its first yougn people to gang violence. And I hope it will be the last. RIP Kareem.
