BATTLES
Battles are fought day after day,
Innocent people lost for being in the way.
Weapons of mass destructions in unknowing hands
sometimes I wonder if this is the promised land.
Walkin out and seeing innocent children slain,
Thinking in my head who is really to blame.
Parents leaving their children unattended,
Thinking 'if he hurts himself it can be mended'.
Well what about the little boy who lost his arm after accidentally being shot,
Have you given that a second thought.
You feel that you can let your young child play all day,
Not noticing the unknown preditors 'round tha way.
You say "Monitor your child on the internet and their television programs"
How about YOU monitor your new boyfriend or even your mail man.

People fight them daily in their homes.
We are so concerned with the wars in the Middle East.
Well what about the wars in our neighborhood streets.
My opinion is... Instead of worrying about the 'otha man',
We should worry about OUR HOMELAND
