Have you noticed that everybody always thank God in their speeches. I watched as Omaion thanked a few people then goes "oh yeah and God". This has become almost automatic with people in the industry. Have you ever wondered how many of these people actually mean what they say. Not to be all religious but these people are a trip. What would your reaction be if the Ying Yang Twins got an award for "Wait (The Whisper Song)", and then thanked God?
What is the point in thanking God if you don't mean it? Yeah I listen to Rap, R&B and Hip Hop. But I can't help but to wonder this. What is the point of them thanking him??? Are these people serious?

No, I don't feel like you have to sing gospel in order to thank God, but at least mean what you say. " I want to thank God and my momma", is the first thing they say. But are they really thankful. At least there are a few artist that are real enough about it that DON'T thank God and do thank their momma.

I guess the entire point of this is to ask you how do you feel about these artist and them thankin God? Have you ever wondered which ones are serious??

I get what u are saying....even though most people aren't exactly exemplifying God's will...(with the Rap,etc.,) Some of those people have been brought up in the church and they know where there talents came from and they know that nothing is possible with out him. I think they are all serious....why would they say it if they didn't mean it......everyone doesn't thank God.

I agree with these two ladies. If the truth be told none of us are worthy of God's blessings or grace. I am just happy that they remember Him. A lot of us may have jobs and/or lifestyles that may not be pleasing in His site, but that doesn't mean we are not thankful for all that He does for us in spite of ourselves. I'd rather that they thank Him instead of not thanking Him because they think they are not worthy or are being real. Being thankful to God is always in order.
