Wassup? I’ve been doing a lot of fussing at ya’ll lately. Holding up mirrors and shaking traditions; I’ve asked many of you to examine/question the most fundamental of your beliefs. Today, I want to salute you; you are the most amazing community I’ve ever been blessed to be a part of, and I thought you should know. I am awed, humbled, educated, lifted and encouraged by you. You are royal warriors, each in your own right, each in your own way, and I am grateful and honored to be among you. I hope you enjoy today’s Just Sayin.
My Two Cents There’s been a lot of threats lately to name names; I’ve decided to be the first. Bob, it’s only right you be first; you are my first friend here. You are an inspiration and a challenge to seek new levels of excellence everyday. Thank you for the soaring standards. Felicia, Terrance, Milika, Marta, Nicole, Dr. Glover and all the other consistently brandishing swords. Iron sharpens iron; you make me better; you make us all better with your conviction. You are instant in season and out; your dedication and passion beacons. Pam, Jessica, Saideh, Chris, Esther, my fellow Oreo , all ya’ll who give of your professional wisdom and services; you epitomize blessed to be a blessing. The effects of your butterfly wings will be the wind on which generations fly. Sisters and brother ministers, too many to name, thank you for the love and encouragement you pour lavishly on all of us everyday; you pray our strength, health and prosperity; you diligently seek to insure our fellowship with the Almighty. You are our hope and our foundation. It doesn’t get said near enough, but know we’re grateful for you. And all ya’ll, who like me, who are hanging out sharing your thoughts and building your dreams, your courage and passion are nothing short of phenomenal. Your power and intellect are unmatched, your support and openness more precious than gold. To Nemesa who first stoked my fire, LaDonna, Greg, Na Na, Lequita and Lesley who keep the wood coming and the entire Connect Platform community I love ya’ll. Just Sayin

Youth Beat D. Rose & Bible Verse, Will They Make it to the Next Round? by R& B Chick
Picture this: The host of "Wanna B A Star", Tiffany, begins to announce the next performer. All she had to say was "Albany's Finest" and the club knew exactly who she was speaking of!
Bible Verse. The crowd starts singing the hook from his last performance, "Jumpin off da Dressa" and then he hits the stage. First he teases the ladies with the hook from his up coming single "Can U Handle Me" and if you saw his last performance you know how
Bible Verse gets down. He has no shame in telling a lady exactly what he wants to do to her. Then he gets into his track titled "Candy Paint". I think the crowd was too blown away to really rock to it cuz all you heard from them was how crazy his flow is. They are comparing this man to Smoke from Field Mob and with good reason. When he's up there he puts on a show for you and comes with a different flow every time. I can't wait to see what he brings next. Stay tuned to see if he makes it to the next round.
D. Rose raised the bar last night @ Apache Cafe. He has the sickest swagga since Jigga and when he opens his mouth the crowd listens. With cigar in hand and cuff links in place I'm not sure when the crowd actually started paying attention to what he was saying, but once they caught up he had em. He did one of my favorite tracks titled "Roc Steady". While on stage he takes a shot of Patron, and gets right back into the song without missing a beat! The judges DuQuaye and an employee of DTP Records gave him much props.
D. Rose is a bad, bad man. Stay tuned to see if he made it to the next round.
