No Mami, You Need a Relaxer

Once when I was in the midst of stretching out my relaxer, a salon refused to serve me. I was in a pinch and took a chance on a salon that I noticed in my neighborhood without any kind of referral. When I approached one stylist, she asked me if I wanted a relaxer. I said no. She told me that she had to check with the salon owner. The salon owner walks over and again asks me if I wanted to get a relaxer. I told her that I was trying to wait a few more weeks. She said, "No, Mami, I can't do your hair like that. You need a relaxer." I told her, "Not today," and walked out.
