so when my grams comes to pick me up she tells my roommates to come to my 21st birthday party....now i had no idea that my grams was throwing me a party i personally had plans of my own for my b-day weekend which involved lots of drinking but the way she said it was like i am like 12 years old inviting people....if i even come home for my 21st b-day i better have a surprise like a car or somethin cuz if i dont have n-ething i will feel as if i came home for nothing......i really hope itz a car but i dont wanna get my hopes up.....my my grams is really determined to throw me a party on the 18th......do u guys think i should tell her i already had plans???

It depends. You could ask her to move the party up or something so you can still get wasted on ur b-day. If that doesn't work out...then...you prob need to go to the party. Your grams is old-fashioned...and they are used to runnin the show. If you don't want to hurt your Grams...go to the party. What do you have to lose?

PS: Am I invited? My b-day is on the 18th!

shoot, let me get wasted w/ you.... i think you should let her do the party, then really celebrate and make up for it... it'd be good to have a special day w/ family, unless you aren't that close... then in that case... just say you have plans...but i feel you on goin all the way home for nothing... i've had that done to me before, but i made the most of it...

PARTY?! Holla at cha boy! I'll make that party get more Krunk that Lil' Jon on PCP! LOL! She may have something big planned for you, but she most likely put in work to do whatever it is she has planned. If you can do the weekend with your friends later on in the evening or a little later. You have to remember...NO MATTER HOW OLD YOU GET, Grandparents will almost ALWAYS see you as thier GRANDBABY!
