Me and my ex broke up like a month and a half ago after dating for 8 months, and the way it ended...just made it seem like a wasted 8 months of my life. I just saw him on my way home from a date with this new guy i'm talking to and he (my ex) looked pissed. Guess he thought when we broke up I wasn't gonna date no one else and was gonna try to get back with him. Just seein the look on his face, that look of jealousy and regret just made me so happy and I don't really know why. Now that he's seen that I have no issues movin on I feel like a weight has been lifted.
Maybe he thought that you felt he didn't mean anything. I believe that if you two broke up on bad terms, you should be the grown up and make it right. So that way, if he needs to talk to you or if he see's you or vice versa, there won't be any tension. I'm happy that you're not in your bedroom sobbing. Good luck on the new guy!
