LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA ~ Lincoln University will once again host a two week Fulbright Pre-Academic Summer Program for 30 graduate students coming to the US for further education. The program will take place on Lincoln's campus from July 20, 2008 to August 3, 2008.

The pool of students assigned to Lincoln's pre-academic program will be coming from 23 different countries. Most participants will not have previously studied at U.S. institutions of higher education. Many will have never been to the United States.

The thirty students assigned to Lincoln University will be involved in a program that will focus on English language and refinement and academic skills, Fulbright program goals, orientation to U.S. culture, survival skills for graduate students, and cross-cultural orientation. While at Lincoln, the students will participate in cultural activities such as visits to the Amish country, Longwood Gardens, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. There is also a host family experience where the students will spend one day visiting with Lincoln University and Westgrove/Avondale Rotary Club families in the area.
