WINNIESPOETRY:
I TOLD MY SONS AND MY DAUGHTERS..
I rose up from my bed..
threw off my covers..
sat down.. and wrote...
I told My Sons...
Become strong men.
Men who make wise choices.
Choices to be determined, strong, vibrant.
To be persistant, yet patient..
To be humble,..
and ...To sometimes be quiet.
And I looking at My Daughters.. I told them..
Become A Women of Virtue.
Women who attend their heads to knowledge.
Knowing the strength of their beings.. for their children.
To be motivators, and teachers, one of extroversion,
having perceptions....
to be beautiful women inside and out,
but keeping simplicity....to be kind spirits...
and sometimes to be quiet.
While they both were quiet, they listened
as they read my writings
My Sons and My Daughters.....and
Their voices were heard in what I have written.
Then..
I put down my pen.
