Prom Dress Too Explicit To Be Allowed In (1516 hits)

CNN recently posted this video online about a young girl from Houston, Texas who wasn’t allowed into her prom because of the dress she wore. Comments on the video ranged from blaming the parents for lack of control, applaud for the school’s reprimand on the attire, and chastising the girl’s attire.

Is this an outcry for school’s nationwide to set a standard code for attire worn during school hours and at events? It may lead to a mandatory requirement for school uniforms.

What are your views? Should students be able to wear what they want?

I saw this on CNN. What happened is exactly what should have happened. She had the right to decide to wear the dress, and the school had the right to say "heall no..."
