Joyce M. Roche (4370 hits)


Joyce Roche is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Girls Incorporated (a national nonprofit research, education, and advocacy organization), New York, New York, and has served in this capacity since September 2000.

Before joining Girls Inc., Roché served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Carson, Inc., or Carson Products Company, from 1995 to 1998. During her tenure at Carson, an African American personal care company, sales increased over 130 percent. She was also Vice President of Global Marketing at Avon Products, Inc, from 1993 to 1995. While at Avon, Roché broke new ground, becoming Avon’s first African American female vice president, the first African American vice president of marketing, and the company’s first vice president of global marketing.
