"God Knows Your Needs"
Luke 12:29-31
Making the Kingdom of God your primary concern means making Jesus the Lord and King of your life. He must control every area-your work, your play, plans, relationships. Is the Kingdom only one of your many concerns, or is it central to all you do? Are you holding back any areas of your life from God's control? As Lord and Creator, He wants to help provide what you need as well as guide how you use what He provides.
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary,
To view the cross where Jesus died for me.
How marvelous that grace that caught my falling soul,
He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs." - Dottie Rambo, from the song "He Looked Beyond My Faults and Saw My Needs"
BLACK HISTORY TRIVIA:
The dealer wins! No one got yesterday's trivia question. In 1963, Bob Hayes ran the 100-yard dash in 9.1 seconds. Here is today's question: on this day in 1853, the first all Black regiment in the Union Army is established. What was the name of the first all Black regiment in the Union Army?
