2008 has approached us all, bringing hopes of mental, spiritual, or physical corrections in our lives. For most of us Just remembering all of the drama, racism, injustice, and disappointments captured by the media that is supposed to shed light about the state of african americans in this country. Let's revisit: Jena 6, are Pro athlets either being murderd or inprisioned, ect... My question to you in 2008 what can we do as a people to preserve what so many have worked hard for and to stand up against those who want to see the traditional black community parish. It's never been about you and I, but it's always been about us!!

I think that for 2008 to be any different than 2007, we must individualy commit to being accountable for what's taking place in our homes, our schools, our streets, and our communities.

The unfortunate truth is that there is no "leader" who will magically unite African-Americans. We are as diverse philosophically and culturally as the nation in which we live.

So for us to collectively prosper, we must individually decide to strive for more. Just my $0.02. Peace & Blessings
