I Got That Green (Weed) Folk
Current mood: discontent

It's funny yet sad that people don't know what they're doing or what kind of trouble they may be putting themselves into sometimes. Before heading to a friend's house to have early morning breakfast for what we call New Years due to the Gregorian calendar, I stopped by Kroger's in South West Atlanta (by Greenbriar Mall to be exact) to purchase some easy bake baskets to contribute to our meal. I asked one of the third shift stockers on what aisle are the baskets located. After telling me where they were, he then said to me, "Ay folk I got that green." For you "proper" people, green is what we in Atlanta call "weed," whether (hy)dro or mid.
When dude asked me that, of course I said I'm cool on that (meaning no thank you). However I began to laugh while saying to myself that homeboy is stupid for he didn't know who I was. I could have been an off duty policemen, or someone who would jack him for his product.
Why isn't it that we don't think of possible consequences before we do dumb ish? We don't think about the consequences of our actions until we are faced with them. But by then it's too late.
Before we make any decision to do something wrong, let us first stop, reflect (reflect, ponder, analyze consequences) over the possible danger(s) we could put ourselves or another into, then proceed to whatever choice we make whether good or bad.
Shalom!
