"Elisabeth Births a Son"
Luke 1:57-61
Family lines and family names were important to the Jews. The people naturally assumed the child would receive Zechariah's name or at least a family name. Thus, they were surprised that both Elisabeth and Zechariah wanted to name the boy John. This was the name that angel had given them (Luke 1:13).
