Guys, I have approached my 50,000 hit mark on my blog, Planning and Preparing for College (Scholarships, Internships, Etc). I need your help to get the word out to your family, friends, co-workers, church members, etc to visit the blog at
http://www.ctherd.blogspot.com and subscribe to the mailing list. Just think what an impact you can make in the lives of many. The blog has been currently updated and has over 200 posting and an infrastructure of much more (college prep, financial aid, ACT/SAT, college searches, community services and much more. The blogs currently has many opportunities on scholarships, internships and fellowships.
The goal of the blog is to put parents and students (high school, undergraduates or graduates) on the correct time lines and to allow them to benefit from the many opportunities as they prepare for college or while in college. Please note that the best gift to give anyone is the "Gift of Knowledge", this is priceless and can't be brought. We must start coming together to educate and mentor to our legacies. The Youth are our future and if we don't take the time to assist them then we can perish.
Now is the time to apply for 2008 scholarships, internships, fellowships and get registered for FASFA and be ready for the January 2nd start time to register.
As we reflect on the holiday season, let us come together and help one another 365 to 366 days a year and not just for a season.
It is my hope that as I share with you, you will help to make a difference in someone's life. We should all have the "I am my brother's keeper" approach. It is my hope that all will prosper by gaining knowledge.
