Stop The Violence...Can We?

School shootings, disgruntled ex-employees, street violence, etc. In some way, shape or form, we are all affected by it. Be it stricter laws, increased monitoring, protocol adjustments, it'll soon enough trickle down to affect you. Is there a way to stop these random acts of violence? Or are they truly just that; random, and we can't predict it? Besides living in a bulletproof bubble, can we avoid it at all?
