Los Angeles, CA October 2, 2007 With nearly 150 radio appearances, two previously published books ("The Climate: A Perspective Unvisited" & "How To Tame A Dawg"), and her coverage of the Michael Jackson Trial, activist Pearl Jr. has launched another book, "Black Women Need Love, Too!"
This is a "how to" manual dealing with the challenges that face Black women with having a permanent partner in their lives.
"Black Women Need Love, Too!" focuses on what's in the best interest of Black women, which is not non-Black women with Black men. But to the contrary, Pearl Jr. also explains why she believes that Black women should look inside and outside of the Black race for a mate who is willing to provide and protect Black women.
Pearl Jr. exposes her own personal love life in a naked emotional reality that intends to have Black women take a serious look at the world they live in, as well as needed self-evaluation of themselves and, of course, dissecting the heck out of the Black male psyche to improve the status of the Black race family.
The subtitle of this book, “Exposing the Conspiracy to Keep Black Women Without
Love" delivers a clear undeniable history of race relations and connects the dots as to why keeping Black women without love contributes to the current status quo pertaining to the division of power and wealth based on race.
Furthermore, Pearl Jr. says "it's epidemic the number of unmarried and uncommitted Black women--it's quite gloomy", but she offers PROVEN techniques and strategies about how to get the man of your choosing into your life and committed only to you.
Pearl Jr. has recently been a guest on the nationally syndicated Michael Baisden Show and has been a repeated guest commentator on KABC, CBS, and many other talk shows to discuss this vital issue.
