The President’s Report
7/30/07 Building Partnerships in Our Community
As our organization continues to grow and develop, building strong relationships with community organizations and institutions is essential to meeting our stakeholders’ needs.
During the next few weeks, we will seek to cultivate our relationships by reaching out to neighborhood organizations, and making the Foundation a well-known and valuable part of our communities.
By connecting with people who are active in leading Baltimore City’s renewal, we can locate and manage resources that will maximize our organization’s reach. Together, we can help make The Baltimore Renaissance Foundation the premier source for innovative solutions within our communities.
This week, I encourage you to learn more about how to get active in your community. Find your local neighborhood improvement association, and become an active member. Know the leaders of your local schools, businesses, and places of worship. Let your friends and neighbors know about the ambitious plans we’re working on here at the Foundation.
And most importantly… do your part! Support organizations that are working to create a better lifestyle for you and yours. With continued commitment, we can all enjoy neighborhoods that are clean, safe, healthy, and prosperous.
