2007 Limited Collector's Edition HBCU Calendar! (1336 hits)

In December 2005, Danielle Ashley Foundation unveiled the inaugural edition of the HBCU calendar. This year we are proud to present you with the second edition of its kind, the 2007 Limited Collector’s Edition HBCU 13-month calendar. The calendar’s goal is to showcase these historic institutions and promote recruitment. The 2007 edition features the next set of HBCUs by year of establishment beginning with Howard University (1867). A special tribute to Dillard University is also featured, as well as prominent African American organizations such as national fraternities and sororities, and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Each month a different HBCU is profiled, along with a recap of the school’s history, including information on famous alumni. The 2007 HBCU calendar highlights the valued achievements of African Americans and historical facts you need to know. This one-of-a-kind calendar is a great educational tool for everyone.

The following are featured in this year's calendar:

* Alabama A&M University
* Alabama State University
* Alcorn State University
* Bennett College
* Claflin University
* Dillard University
* Fayetteville State University
* Howard University
* Huston-Tillotson University
* Knoxville College
* Morehouse College

Last year the Danielle Ashley Foundation raised over $65,000 of which $25,000 was specifically donated to the UNCF. The 2007 calendar is bigger, brighter and features 14 colleges and universities as well as the traditional black sororities and fraternities. You'll also find money-saving coupons from Walgreens and Amber Waves inside the calendar.
