Life is always changing, never staying the same. Our point of view changes as we engage in life's activites. Sometimes we get scared of change (suggestions or opinions that question our thought process and behavior); the things that makes us feel uncomfortable. We become more intuned about the environment around us if we allow our faith to guide us.
Do not worry about others if they don't mature(grow) as life passes them by, eventually, they will. Remember life is based on an individual's experience.
We all have a purpose here on earth. We all are unique beings created to complete a puzzle that we cannot see. If people all over the world, no matter race,religion, political party, gender can learn to love, understand, and accept one another; the world will be a better place. Unity is the key to prosperity.
Here is something to think about:

What I meant by this is that our life is like a puzzle, one piece of our life cannot show our story.
When you feel alone, inadequate and feel like no one cares, know that not everything you see, seems to be what you perceive. God only knows.
You are going in the right direction in life when you face challenges such as indecisiveness, struggles, doubt, etc.
