One of my favorite songs from singer/songwriter Aiyana-Lee is called "Rich Kids". In the song she proclaims that she is breathing fire because she is Rich in the Soul Right Now.
That line resonates on so many levels and is a great anthem for anyone struggling to be seen, to be heard, to be acknowledged...to be loved.
Earlier this year Aiyana-Lee attended her first Grammy Awards events that included the legendary Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala and by all accounts in the media, she lit up the room with her persona and beauty, but what made even the most seasoned artists of music and movies more impressed than those attributes, was Aiyana-Lee's humility and poise.
Aiyana-Lee has captured hearts and minds with her music and is feeling blessed to be so genuinely embraced by the industry and her new fans.
You know when someone like Sir Elton John dubs you as "the artist to watch" and celebrities draw to you as if you have already been in the game for 20 years, there is a simmering smoke and where there is smoke, there is fire.
I caught up recently with Aiyana-Lee to find out more about this amazing talent.
