HBCUCONNECT.COM, THE BLACK COLLEGE MEGA-SITE, LAUNCHES NEW STUDENT MAGAZINE
Columbus, OH (BlackNews.com) - HBCUConnect.com, the largest organization and website dedicated to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, has come through again with another unique offering for the Black College audience. In keeping with this, their tradition, HBCU Connect has launched HBCUConnect - On Campus, a new print magazine for the current HBCU student.
"It's been a long time coming!" says Daniel Moss, Vice President of Business Development for the huge online community. "This is yet another venture that has been on the horizon for some time, but we knew it was a matter of time because our members demanded it, and we have even more surprises down the road."
Since 1999 HBCU Connect, LLC has been the online leader in Black College information and services to the HBCU community. In the past three years, the HBCU mega-site has earned placement as one of the largest online communities in existence and has built on that positioning by continuing to offer exciting services and information online, as well as offline, via their events like the annual HBCU Alumni Cruise (www.HBCUCruise.com), publications and intellectual exchange.
"We know that our web destination has been a magnificent tool for our community and we wanted to translate that utilitarian aspect to our student publication," offers CEO William Moss. "HBCU Connect - The Magazine is an absolute resource, or guide for today's HBCU student, with information on scholarship resources, Internship and Co-Op opportunities, HBCU Events, culture and more."
With a membership of more than 300,000 HBCU alumni, current students, faculty, family and friends, HBCUConnect.com is the leader in Black College related information and services. The company, founded by CEO William R. Moss III, a 1995 graduate of Hampton University, is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio and maintains relationships with each of the 105 HBCUs in the U.S.
The HBCUconnect magazine is available on-site at various HBCU campuses.
