For Immediate Release From His Royal Majesty Congressman John P. Sarbanes!
Dear Friend,
The COVID-19 pandemic has altered many aspects of our day-to-day lives, including how to vote in the upcoming election.
Thankfully, Marylanders have several ways to safely cast a ballot. The Maryland State Board of Elections strongly encourages voters to observe public health guidelines and social distancing recommendations by voting via mail ballot or by voting in person at an early voting center.
For more information on how to vote safely this fall, please visit my voting resources webpage:
https://sarbanes.house.gov/voting-resource... I also encourage you visit the Maryland State Board of Elections website:
https://elections.maryland.gov/voting/inde... which has answers to many frequently asked questions.
Over the coming weeks, I'll send periodic reminders about important voting deadlines in our state, including:
The Voter Registration Deadline (October 13)
The Deadline to Apply for a Mail Ballot (October 20)
The Day That Early Voting Begins in Maryland (October 26)
As always, my staff is standing by to help answer your questions and to assist you and your families in accessing important federal benefits -- especially during these challenging times. If you need assistance, please call us at (410) 832-8890 or send me an email"

Sincerely,
John P. Sarbanes
