Today we had to put my dog to sleep. It was the first time I experienced losing a dog that was like another member of the family. Spike would have been 12 years old this coming may. My father took it the hardest. It is kind of scary to see your father cry. Spike was suffering from immense pain and then we found out he had cancer of the pancreas. I handled the loss better than expected because I have something to look forward to. I look forward to seeing my dog in heaven when I pass away ine day. I asked Jesus to watch over spike. I love him ans wll dearly miss him.
Can anyone tell me how was it like for you to lose a pet?
God Bless
