FISK!! FISK!! FISK!!

Well Trenee' I personally like Fisk because its a small school just like a family setting. When I first came everyone was so nice and they still are. Everyone speaks and if you ever need anything someone is here to help anyway they can. I am proud to be a Fiskite.

I am a Fisk University Class of 2003 graduate. Fisk functions as a small liberal arts college, concentrated on academics and embedding African-American culture/history into students' minds. That being said...Fisk does not have a band or football team. Regionally, our men's basketball team does pretty well. I encourage you to seek out studying abroad for a semester or two as well. Fisk has sooo many international and domestic exchange programs. Two members of my graduating class studied at Oxford during their junior year. Myself and another classmate did a domestic exchange at Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve which are both in Ohio. One downside to Fisk was not having an athletic facility. Although there Nashville downtown YMCA is just a few blocks away.
