The Look of Victory
Looking at the snapshot view of victory
One could say success
But what one dare wouldn't say is..
No obstacles faced
Can't dare say
No dilemmas faced on both left and right sides
Can't dare say
No moments of wanting to quit
Can't dare say..
No moments of regrets
Can't dare say
No fumbles, falls and failed passes
Can't dare say
The score never looked like a total defeat
So then...
At the very end of the 4th quarter
With a few seconds left to perform
This fellow scored
So....
The falls
The dilemmas
The turmoils
The conflicts
The high scoreboard for the opposing team
The fumbles
The tumbles
The vision in your mind and the thought of how it might not be realized
The boos or cheers from the crowd
The stamina
The fight
The hope
The unrest
All means nothing on that final day of victory
As it is written our present sufferings are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us.
