Let's start over

I have never in my life struggled to write a poem as much as I struggled to write this one
But I guess that could only mean that this poem is special
May God bless you, the way he’s blessed me
with a little piece of Heaven, in all this hell that I’m going through, trying to figure out my next big move
She called me up, so there I was just sitting there, waiting for the pain to react
no pain, words of love filled the air with it’s sweet aroma, it smelled so good
I thought I was in Heaven, a quick adjustment, I never knew a star could shine so bright
blinding my soul, yet easing my spirit, the melody of an angel, mmmmhh, can you hear it
a mixture of heaven and “gone somewhere ‘now’” man I love that accent
I’m so at ease every time she speaks,
not to mention those beautiful eyes, and that mole on her left cheek
your s*xy smooth neck, yeah I’m gone off of your short hair
I wish I knew God was planing your arrival, so I could of had more time to prepare
you’ve got me on an emotional roller coaster, oh I forgot, I can’t say roller coaster
that’s your sensitive spot ‘yeah’. I want to find your sensitive spot, but not quiet yet
because at this stage of our “friendship” it goes deeper than that
matter of fact a simple fact, I love that you’re educated, I love that you’re strong minded
I know that you’ve been looking, and looking for love, and I pray to God that one day you find it.
And if ever on your long journey, you get tired or weak, just look my direction
cause I can promise you more than just love and affection
more than my Cadillac and my teddy bear stature
more than my good looks, with that Kodak capture
now I’m not asking you out, just letting you know, I’m not afraid to travel.
I really just want to chill as much as I can
before you go far, far away
I just don’t want tonight’s events, to lead you astray
tomorrow is not promised so I’m going to just cherish today
