It is hosted by ASU and offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as part of the Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP).

This is all part of ASU's "CommUniversity" concept initiated by President Quinton T. Ross, Jr., which promotes the University building bridges to help others in the outside community, said the director of Alabama State University's SBDC, which is sponsoring the event.
