If you thought taking a dump and whizzing (bubbling) the bowl was a private affair-think again. Folks, drug users should be pissed off! (LOL-the pun I could have with this one). I am not shi---ing yall! The republicans want a National 'pee' Sample. This thing reeks of politics as opposed to the public safety.
See story source here.,
This gives a new meaning to
Pubic History. Or is that
Public. My History teachers taught us the Europeans use to just open the windows and throw liquid and solid waste out in the streets! This was the cause of most of the inbred diseases that caused epidemics. Something is afoul in the air! Suppsedly, this bright idea for a
National Drug Sample came from Europe where in Italy they found the equivalent of 40,000 doses of Cocaine in the Po-River (Poooor River-LOL!). No wonder the Tower is leaning over there! What is it called the Leaning Tower of Pissa! LOL
All jokes aside:
The best thing for a person to do to rid drugs in this society is to not use them! This way the National Drug Sample would be negative. It's simple supply and demand economics-you don't have to be Adam Smith or Keynes to figure this out. If there is no demand to supply would be futile.
On the side of those that yowl over criminalizing non-victim crimes like illicit drug use is: Why should the nation be concerned? I would think that drug use does affect one's performance overall and as an upshot would be a cause of lower productivity in the U.
S. Economy. It definitely deteriorates the marvel of a healthy body!
What someone does in their crib should not matter-right? What if drug use could be defined as a pursuit of happiness?
Would a crack hit and a blunt be protected by a constitutional guarantee? LOL
Many of us have seen the ravages that drugs can have on a family and community-we need look no farther than our own ties. Uncles in jail. Sisters strung out. Brothers selling dope. Mothers killed. Fathers gone! No wonder Marvyn Gaye referred to his "Brother-Brother-Brother-there are too many of you dying...Mother-Mother-Mother ooowhooo-their are too many of you crying.."
A query to be answered: Will woeful drugs become the ultimate tie that binds Americans together? Or will our National Life be jeopardized by the effects of illicit drugs. If America decriminalizes drugs-will we become a nation of heads (weedheads & crackheads)? What about in Amsterdam where
they are always tauted as an example to the world that you can have pervasive decriminalization of drugs and a low crime rate.
Canada allows those who are 18 to drink and yet there are fewer drinking and driving fatalities connected to underage drinking in that nation.
As a junior policy wunk: How can America benchmark policies such as these that will allow us to mimic best practices (low crime rates) while concomitantly perserving the public safety (virtually no crack-babies)?
Regardless, before you unzip and get ready to do numbers 1 or 2, contemplate is big brother watching: your toiletbowl is now a fishbowl!
