Last week, I co-hosted the annual East County Regional Job Fair in Silver Spring alongside County Executive Ike Leggett, Senator Craig Zucker, Delegate Anne Kaiser, Delegate Eric Luedtke, Delegate Pam Queen, Councilmember Tom Hucker, the East County Regional Services Center, Montgomery County Recreation, Montgomery County Commission for Women and Worksource Montgomery.
We had more than 600 job seekers and more than 65 employers attend the event.
Participants had the opportunity to sit in on several free workshops, including:
How to Find and Apply for Jobs in the Federal Government
How to Start or Grow Your Own Business
