The Alabama State University Citywide Job Fair has Over 70 Employers Confirmed & More to Come (1043 hits)

WHAT: ASU Job Fair (Opportunity Fair) has over 70 employers to date with awesome jobs for locals.
WHEN: Oct. 4, (Wednesday) from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: The ASU Dunn-Oliver Acadome.

Alabama State University is hosting yet another spectacular Job Fair that already has over 70 local, state and national employers confirmed and lined-up to be present and looking to hire sharp and talented local residents of Montgomery and the River Region who attend its "ASU Opportunity Fair."

It is being held Oct. 4 (Wednesday) from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the ASU Dunn-Oliver Acadome and is again sponsored by ASU's Office of Career Services - which does such an awesome job in putting this 'hiring-fest' together each and every year.

It is free and open to the public, but we do require that all attendees wear appropriate business attire and have several copies of up-to-date resumes since many of these companies will make hiring decisions on-site at the event.

A GREAT PREVIEW NEWS STORY
Hit me up and let's do a preview news story about our ASU Citywide Job Fair so your news consumers will know about the event before it happens and can attend. I have a career service expert who can offer tips to the folks who may interview at the event.

Also, I hope you will send reporters on the day of the event and either do a story about the event itself or localize how the economy and job market is doing with employers and job-seekers being interviewed.

For more info on the event, contact: ASU's Office of Career Services (Jeremy Hodge, director) at 334-229-4156 or by email at Jhodge@alasu.edu.
