Alabama State University’s Business College Hosts Week of Events

Alabama State University’s College of Business Administration (COBA) is hosting a full slate of events beginning this Friday (Sept. 8) and continuing through the next Friday (Sept.15), as it celebrates “COBA Week.”

The purpose of the weeklong COBA celebration is to celebrate ASU's dynamic business college and to help its students advance their education in business, become more productive citizens, further their careers, and pursue advanced studies within a changing global environment.

The COBA schedule will include such events as a 'Diversity in Accounting Student Conference,' an 'Eminent Scholar Lecture Series,' a 'Millennial Entrepreneur Summit,' a 'COBA Connection Day,' and several other programs honoring COBA and its founding dean, Dr. Percy J. Vaughn, Jr. which includes a banquet in honor of Dean Vaughn that is scheduled for the evening of Sept. 15, at the ASU Hardy Student Center.
