What Girls Like (379 hits)

*This is taken from something I read over weekend, what do You think?*:

*Girls like guys who adore them. This is the number one thing for girls. Many a girl has fallen in love with a guy after he announces that he likes her. The more you like her, the better (unless it is overbearing).

*Girls like guys who are strong. They like guys who are confident and give them the feeling that they are safe wgen they are around them.

*Girls like guys who aren't afraid to say sweet things to them. "You look so pretty tonight". Stuff like that.

Girls like guys who don't shy away from them when their buddies are around.

*Girls like guys who know how to have fun when they are with a girl (besides being physical).

*Girls like guys who make them feel special.

*Girls like guys who cares about their feelings and who aren't afraid to talk about "emotional" stuff.

*Girls like guys who are generous. Not just with MONEY$$$$$ but in other ways, too. They like guys who will go out of their way to make them feel comfortable.

*Girls like guys who take care of themselves. They like clean hair, nice clothes, and they love a guy who smells good.

*Girls like guys who do little things like hold their hand softly, move their hair away from their face for them or remember the day they first kissed.

*Please feel free to add the things You look for in a guy and if You disagree with any point stated here*

yes, I can agree i do like these types of guys but i can never seem to "find" them. I wont say find because when you look for things they dont come to you.. you have to just let things happen~tee

Hey Joycelyn, thanks for the time and efforts to add Your knowledge here.
This is very true, I would say Men like this about a Woman as well. It shows a valuable side of Womanhood, Prudence etc. Notice the Virtuous Woman of Proverbs 31:10-31. Time for all things. And this is not prefectionism.

Hey Renee yes it has been a while.
Yes, I do still post strong on the issues, Lol!

I appreciate You for adding Your wisdom and knowledge to this post. I was making a point from a lot of reading that I do. I talk about intellectualism and humanism. I state that some points are good but not the end all, they add to other aspects such as spiritual which are the most important things. I posted this blog to work into answers such as this with the grain of what people say, think and feel in which many are perplexed about male/female relations. In recent blogs I have done the same things and have participated in friendly debates about intellectualism and humanism. I even did a spiritual blog about debates and used Jesus as an example stating one can never lose if using that paradigm.

If you recall there have been past blogs and it is popular for many to state "I want a thug/bad boy" this is popular with women along many levels from lawyers, Doctor's etc. You see it in movies and many black magazines.
I have stated that bad is bad and good is good and even recently talked about in recent blogs about what common sense is that about a theory of a person in a thug who abuses, lies, cheats, makes babies and does not pay the bills, because they are supposed to do certain things well and that is a theory also and lets not even talk about std's, downlow etc.
I see and hear many females and some males that talk about being hurt but they don't tell all the story, from thsoe I talked to and of course not all cases when you get to know them and see what they selected for selves and for what reasons... Hope you feel where I am coming from.
And don't let me get into how many females I know deal with married men and then state "hurt, pain etc" and I try to be kind but truth is truth.
I always state I started with me and stopped blaming others even though there are plenty of people out there did the right things and were dogged like my own mother.
Believe me when I say, I was built but albeit not perfect to talk and deal on certain issues. One of the reasons I posted the 1st chapter of my book was to show a precedence for why I am the way I am. I am meant to be.

I believe all of what You state Renee. But if I come out a certain way, people won't relate as they do not relate to many messages in the Church from a Pastor or Bishop that did or hide their dirt(and I knw we all are human and if annointed, well we know when people messed with David what happened) and they preach from what they don't do any more but 90 yrs old, feel me?
I have had those discussions in Church. Respectfully.
Anyway, You do keep me on my toes and I appreciate that. All things happen for a reason and I hope I clarify more where I am coming from.

Most of the sistahs and brotha's that do respond to these type blogs are in the prayer room group, other spiritual groups, churches etc. and as the Bible dodged no issues but the Church does today thus increasing rates of abuse, 70% divorce rate with church folk, hey Jessee Jackson can preach this and that and I really looked up to him can go and make a baby on his wife and... I can go on all day. Young Men watch the older Men, young ladies watch the older ladies and that is a scripture somewhere in Proverbs I believe but could be wrong, recalling off the top of my head.

Most people here if I state it is better to marry than to burn won't answer and I am not so far removed from this generation where I can still relate that I can't emphasize but of course never improperly divide the word of truth.
Feel free to communicate anytime and believe it or not I know where You are coming from and I don't disagree with You and am happy You add.
Younger sistahs even though You are Young Yourself need to hear what You say because with a due respect there are too many older women in their 60's plus trying to be younger, steal young men and compete with young sistahs and wear their type clothes as well as for men.
I always state I am a young man but I am not trying to be 22 mentally either, just suscribing to the scripture of remember the days of thy youth in which I blogged the other day on.
Anyway, enough for now.
Feel free to holla back.
As brutha's and sistah's in Christ people don't have to agree to fit in the scripture of being in One mind or like minds if You feel me.
The pathway is straight and positive towards positive leads to more positive and a exact meeting point down the road.
