The White House Student Debt Challenge is a call to action to help an additional two million individuals with federal student loans enroll in income-driven repayment plans so borrowers can make more affordable student loan repayments based on their income. An income-driven repayment plan is a repayment plan that sets your monthly student loan payment at an amount that is intended to be affordable based on your income and family size.
