Nonfiction Author James Frey "A Liar" (415 hits)

I was watching a showing of Larry King last night and a late night showing of Oprah last night and could not believe what I was seeing.
Best selling Author James Frey "Million Little Pieces" book that went to #1 with the aide of Oprah was a major liar and fraud that can set the whole industry back with Memoir and Autobigraphy books, why now!?
I was like "Oh God!"
I was looking to be an invite to the Oprah show when my book comes out and here she is embarrassed, humiliated, angry etc.
I was looking at this Frey in disgust and said a few negative non curse words to myself, stating he has damaged the integrity of a whole genre of Authors.
He mentioned not using novacaine for a dental procedure, well he lied, but my story is true about having my jaws wired when I had a broken jaw after being hit with a crow bar in a fight some years ago in Bradenton, FL, my 1sy yr at FAMU.
Anyway, I refused a shot and now I saw that on t.v. last night.
Anyway, I am speechless at the possible ramifications.

Hi Dana, appreciate Your comments. Also a pleasure to make Your acquaintance Sis.
I was upset about this throughout the weekend, but then something hit me, I asked the question "why now?" I think I got my answer yesterday in the form of "All things happen for a reason and for the better."
Think about it, I have similar stories that are authentic. Oprah and Double Day Publishing(1 of the largest Publishers in the world) are going to want to save face.
Now here I come along with some similar stories, more powerful, authentic but most importantly of all from a spiritual perspective and also real...
I mean I was spooked by some of his stories and then it hit me, people will be looking for that person who really dealt with things of this nature, people want to see one that has triumphed and I have educational and professional experience to further add to my testimony and I have worked as a counselor over people like him...
So in comes me :-)
My time is this year and I say in confidence and not boasting except of God that I will have a best-selling book the 1st go around.
Anyway...
Yes tragic but maybe my time is to right what was wrong, watcha think?
