www.hbcualumniatlanta.com ATLANTA, January 27, 2006: “Partnering With A Purpose” The Third Annual HBCU Alumni Alliance Mixer with proceeds to benefit scholarship initiatives will be held January 27 th in downtown Atlanta from 8 PM until Midnight at the Fulton County Atrium, 141 Pryor Street .
Last year the event drew in some 300 + attendees and was held at the Georgia Freight Depot. This year, with the increase in alumni chapters that have joined the Alliance , organizers are planning on a sell out crowd of 1000+ attendees at the highly anticipated event.
The Atlanta HCBU Alumni Alliance is a collaboration of 18 metro Atlanta HBCU Alumni Associations focused on increasing the visibility of Historically Black Colleges and Universities while promoting community service, economic development, alumni membership recruitment, scholarships and financial support of HBCU institutions.
