Morgan Choir is BACK at the White House this month (1829 hits)


The Morgan State University choir will be performing as part of the installation ceremony of United States Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Wednesday, June 17th.

And for the first time, television viewers around the country are able to enjoy the Morgan State University Choir at the White House, accompanying such Gospel greats as Aretha Franklin, Shirley Caesar, Lyle Lovett and Darlene Love among others, in a special White House celebration of gospel music. The performance, recorded in April of this year, is part of the PBS series, “In Performance at the White House,” It will air on June 26 on your local PBS station (WMPT in the Baltimore area). Check your local listings.
