My sincerest condolences 1st and foremost for all family, friends, admirers etc.
I remember speaking at a Church a while back. Not as a Minister but I spoke on issues in reference to what I am doing with my book project.
I told the congregation that "If I had $$$$$$$$$$'s behind my name, ya'll would hinge on every word I state.
I was not busting them out, most knew where I was coming from.
We all receive our criticism, especially for those aspiring to do well in life. Especially to do well and be a Blessingg for and with people.
I have noticed the news, read blogs, etc. about Rhichard Pryor.
I commend those who had the heart and convictions to post on him.
I have seen some of his movies especially those of him in concert. I laughed hard also.
I did not know that Rhichard had been through some of the things he had been through. He was using the world as a platform to show his trials, tribulations etc.
I as well as many others choose to show, exhibit and voice mine through other what I call more spiritual ways. To each their own.
I have received few and far inbetween critics. I think most people have dealt with negativity in life against You.
What I thought was amazing and I dwell on much that hey you can curse, get into physical confrontations with women, play around, do drugs, curse, drink etc. and the same folk that would criticize a spiritual person for being real, honest and sharing the past and present struggles would praise others with dollar signs behind their names that are well known.
Even the Bible states riches brings many friends.
If one is wealthy the few against you would be the main ones brown nosing and kissing tail.
This is why "God" hovers/broods as a Roosters over eggs when one is already in their own Promise Land.
When the Israelites 1st crossed into their destinies they were told via Moses that there are Mountains and Valleys.
They were placed there for a reason to learn and to better oneself via choice.
I can say so much more on this and the materialism I see in the world that invades large parts of the Church as a body of people.
Remember the Pharasees, Pharasees and Essenes were all materialistic fake facade people, fake in so many ways from outward appearance to their insides. White washed tombs is what "Jesus" called them...
Just my 2 cents worth and just being me.
By the way, those are the most dangerous folk on earth that many people can relate to.

By the way, I remember how it became very popular for white folk to use the N-word after the N-word tape was put out by Pryor, I was a kid at the Boysclub...
