
This Summer, Grambling State University senior De’Shon Swafford accepted an invitation from NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama to participate in the Robotics Academy. The academy selects high achieving students in all types of academic disciplines from universities across the United States.
The ten week program offers an intense learning experience that is either space or aeronautics based. After the summer session the participants are inducted into the NASA Academy Alumni Association (NAAA) .A non-profit organization that supports the missions of NASA and the NASA Academy, providing a network for communication and support for alumni.
