Hello,
Prayers can not and will not change anything for a people or an individual less all the ducks are in a straight line.
Firstly, you have to have a prophet to connect to God and that prophet must be the same race as you are. The Children of Israel were able to connect to God only after Moses was anointed am I right.
The Arabian people were able to connect to God only after Prophet Mohammed was anointed.
Aren’t you all smart enough to see and understand the format God has in place to connect to God?
