Budget Makes Donation to the Tom Joyner Foundation in Support of Historical Black Colleges and Universities

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Budget Rent A Car System, Inc. today announced that it has donated $10,000 to the Tom Joyner Foundation to help students continue their education at Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Budget raised money for the Foundation, formed by the nationally syndicated radio personality, by offering morning show listeners a discount on weekly and weekend rates. For every completed rental made in connection with the Tom Joyner Sky Show discount promotion, Budget donated $1.00 to the Foundation.

Tom Joyner, whose nationally syndicated radio show is aired in 115 markets reaching nearly 8 million listeners, said, "Thanks to Budget, we're keeping kids in school. The Foundation and the many students are grateful for the donation."
