(BPRW) FORD SUPPORTS DREAMS OF HBCU STUDENTS WITH FLORIDA CLASSIC EXPERIENCE SPONSORSHIP AND FREE TI CONCERT
Orlando, Fla., Nov. 17 –(BLACK PR WIRE) For more than 40 years, Ford Motor Company has been a major supporter of the hopes and dreams of students at Historic Black College and University (HBCU) students. Ford’s sponsorship of the Florida Classic Experience in Orlando, Fla. on Nov. 19 continues that tradition with a special free concert performed by T.I.
Red-hot, king of the South rapper, T.I. will close out the Ford Experience Fanfare being held before the big game between Bethune-Cookman College and Florida A&M University. The fare is designed to bring families, students, alumni and fans of the Florida Classic together to share great food, merchandise, interactive games and free musical performances from Coco Brown & the Fat Cat Players, as well as T.I.
“Ford Motor Company continues its long-standing commitment to the academic and athletic pursuits of college students and their families by providing its sponsorship support of the Florida Classic Fun Fair. Adding entertaining performances by artist like T.I. help us solidify that commitment,” said Marc Perry, Ford Multicultural Marketing Manager. “This year promises to be a fantastic event.”
Fare attendees can also visit with the 2005 Ford Black College Road Trip Roadies – two recent HBCU graduates, Justin Hill and Nikki Foster, who traveled more than 8,500 miles across the U.S. to 10 HBCU football games in a new 2006 Ford Fusion.
