“I well know the pains they suffer… Bring My People Out of Bondage – Bring My People Home”
The other day, I heard on the radio, a news update. The report told of a woman who was very fortunate to be alive. Apparently, someone broke into her house while she lay sleeping. The crass violators, three men, ransacked the woman’s home for valuables and cash. Little did they know she was not alone…?
The ‘Blind Woman’s’ seeing-eye-dog was on duty. The dog began to bark when the perpetrators realized that a dog was barking and making all kinds of noises, they exited the woman’s domicile. Not only was their vile intrusion on the woman’s sanctuary an unforgiveable and dastardly deed, the vicious thugs attempted to gas the innocent victim. The evil thieves tried, fortunately in vain, to kill the woman by turning on an unlit gas range in the house. The escaping gas could very well have been ignited by any small spark or flame. The explosion would have yielded a devastating blast while destroying other lives and property as well.
The ‘Seeing-Eye-Dog’ was the hero of the day…Thank God! Albeit, I did not get the full radio reports on the story at the time of this reporting. I did get enough to tell you of this filthy and hellish invasion and violation in the life of an innocent. One of the inscrutable intruders was eventually captured by the Philadelphia Police.
