HBCUconnect.com Partners 'Soul To Sole' With Timberland To Create A Better Future For HBCU Students - One Boot At A Time
Columbus, OH (BlackNews.com) - HBCUConnect.com, the online mega site for Black college students and alumni, has announced an exciting "Make 1 Give 1" program with Timberland Company. The initiative will help to create a better future for students who attend historically Black colleges and universities.
From now through November 30, 2005, Timberland will donate $1.00 to the HBCUconnect.com Scholarship Fund (up to $5,000) for every customized boot designed on Timberland.com by visitors originating from HBCUConnect.com
Interested HBCU students can apply for the HBCU Connect Scholarship by going to www.hbcuconnect.com/scholarship
Several Scholarships are awarded each semester to minority students attending an HBCU. Each scholarship will cover up to $1000.00 of the student's tuition and the number of scholarships is determined based on fund availability.
