Black MBA Assoc. Launches Hurricane Relief Fund

The National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Inc., has launched an Empowerment Relief Fund with a goal of raising a million dollars to assist students from the hurricane-affected region. The NBMBAA, marking its 35th anniversary this year, was forced to move its annual conference from New Orleans, La. after levees gave way and flooded sections of the city. Later this week, the NBMBAA will announce the winners of more than $300,000 in scholarships and gifts to doctoral, graduate, undergraduate and high school students.
