JET Magazine hits the road to promote higher education and healthy lifestyles with the 5th Annual “Fueling the Future” nationwide tour to historically black colleges and universities (HBCU’s).
Each school year, JET travels across the country to distribute 10,000 midterm “survival kits”. The care packages are filled with a variety of free products, a plethora of coupons and useful information promoting better health.
“We've created this program to promote good health practices and to provide additional incentives for young adults pursuing higher education,” said Tesa Anewishki Pittman, Marketing Director for JET Magazine. “Our program is the only one across the country that not only gives away care packages that look like they came straight from Mom and Dad, but also delivers them with the same meaning and message of love.”
During the “Fueling The Future” event, students at the host HBCUs compete in a variety of challenges for more exciting prizes, receive on-site hair analyses and hair care tips provided by a Luster Products representative, and learn about how to become Club JET members.
