How ironic is it that when 911 happened, 7 billion dollars was collected and dispersed to all those families, "God" Bless the dead. But in watching the news last night, the same people over the 911 fund do not see this as relevant for Hurricane Katrina and Rita victims/survivors. Much can be written about this..........................

It is ironic, but predictable. I took into consideration what Tiana said, but it all boils down to one thing...black people aren't going to get the assistance needed from our current President. The area in NY was smaller, so why did they get more money than NO? That was 4 years ago, is the economy still "hurting" from giving to it's own? I think not. 9/11 was technically preventable, but some executive officials made faulty decisions, this another reason why I think NY got more money (cause it was basically the gov's fault). The fact that NY voted against Bush doesn't mean that NY knew he wasn't concerned, it's because a majority of them saw his poor leadership skills and bad decisions that had a grave effect. We, can't depend on the gov. for help, we must depend on God;that's all this is really about when you get to the meat of the issue.

Hey Sheila, I appreciate you. You are a very deep young lady. I can not respond any better on this, but to let your statement stand by itself. As you state, regardless of the fact, it is all still Gov't, even 911 had no business happening, and just because people as I have stated could have left etc., we have all done things we should not have done and no reason to let people suffer the ongioing horrors we saw right on television and by the very fact that this was a much larger area states even moreso the problems and the needs. There are reasons why we are all the way we are and we are all affected by the environments we came up in, even the decisions we make in response to our environments. Even the Bible in Proverbs 13:23 states "Much food is in the tillage(fallow or untilled ground, TALENT) of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgement(justice). Any one, if you go through enough, you will falter, some for moments, some for lifetimes. "God" still tells us to take care of the poor and remember those that are in bonds who will be with us forever. This means despite decisions whether they are personal or not. Dang Sheila, I just read through what you wrote again, respectfully, I could answer no better in my deepest mind. I just added on my 2cents. I wish the world had more minds and hearts like this in numbers. The people are out there, but the numbrs need to be more combined. Please don't leave out Politics in your future to some capacity as what is for you.Your answer really sealed the case on this one. And in such a bold, courageous and respectable way. I do need to work on the way I respond back to people at times. Moderation. I'm working on it. "God" Bless to all Sincerely William

I seen a picture of president Bush fishing in New Orleans while people was struggling through the water to find shelter. This country has underground corruption going on.
