Words from my brother serving overseas

The whole hurricane issue is just terrible. The real tragedy is the neglect of the people since so called 'integration' and the exposing of the failed welfare state set up by the gov't. Now the Pres. rewards his cronies with over 250 million dollars worth of contracts and these companies have not given or have only given negligible contributions to the relief cause. In addition, of course, Cheney's old company is in the mix (KBR got 30 million). While the so-called black leadership and liberals are caught up pointing the finger of blame; Bush, Cheney and their friends are laughing all the way to the bank. How many black or minority contractors are going to receive any money and what about fair competition and bidding on the contracts. A friend of mine (whose white) said his family and friends in Montana have already been contacted to go to the gulf and do some work. What about the displaced and suddenly unemployed? How many of them will be asked back to help rebuild and make some of the money. Bro, it is sad. The real "looting and crime" has just begun. I guarantee New Orleans will never again be 67% black. As far as a black mayor, please, our so called Democratic liberal white friends will make sure that a John Edwards type Dem will be put in place to restore 'dignity' to the party. What a shame. Well gotta go. God Bless and keep the faith.
